I think my favorite painting is probably "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Johannes Vermeer. I really like this painting because of how realistic it is and the "renaissance" type style. I love the painterly, oil style, and life in the painting. I think the cracks in the painting from age honestly really add to the effect of the painting. I really love this painting and the rest of Johannes Vermeer's paintings.
